It's not that I can't see the words, it's just a strain on my eyes to focus on things. I'm also farsighted, so that may play a part.

But I love the theory of vacation first... Too bad it'll just be sitting at home alone taking a bath. Hey, wait. That's not a bad vacay at all! lol.

Gotta get the approval from the Mullet-ed one first...Sassy Piehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15627585046412528310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5173453897387022080.post-41787199651020556262009-10-14T16:00:48.530-05:002009-10-14T16:00:48.530-05:00Maybe you just need some cheater glasses (that you...Maybe you just need some cheater glasses (that you can buy at Walgreens). If it just seeing the print on your computer that is the problem, then try that it. They are $5.

But before you do that, try a little vacation. I think it will cure it.Nelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16872386813420289704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5173453897387022080.post-15539865809435058222009-10-14T13:50:59.937-05:002009-10-14T13:50:59.937-05:00The problem is paying for it all... Like on Grey's, there was a boy who needed new ears, and because it was around Halloween, Meredith took him to the plastic surgeon attending to 'trick-or-treat for ears'. It was rather hilarious.

Almost every client we've had that he's done pro bono work for has been a pain in the ass and extraordinarily demanding.

I wish I could keep the bones...Sassy Piehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15627585046412528310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5173453897387022080.post-70447047992265069822009-10-14T12:26:43.781-05:002009-10-14T12:26:43.781-05:00As a rule, pro bono clients are more demanding. Those who *are* paying are at least reasonable in their phone calls, requests, e-mails, etc. because they know they're paying for them. Pro bono clients know they're not paying for anything so they have no problem calling and harrassing. I think it's good to help out in theory, but people take advantage of it. I don't go to the supermarket and ask for pro bono groceries, mechanics aren't required to do pro bono car repairs, doctors don't do pro bono surgery (well, I don't think they do, at least - they don't have reporting requirements like attorneys do).

There was a King of the Hill pro bono quote - I'm doing this pro bono. That means I get to keep the bones.OohLawLawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10010891061627133302noreply@blogger.com
